In every job we do, our Houseplay team seeks to raise the bar and provide a higher level of service … and that effort has paid off. This year, we’ve been fortunate to work with several repeat clients on major projects.
The fact that our clients call us back for renovations testifies to the quality of our work and the relationships that we’ve built along the way, and we’re grateful.
This project in process is a new remodel for our prior clients in downtown Jersey City NJ. We’re currently completing work in the same home featured in our 2015 project, To New Heights.
Our clients are a young couple with a 4 year old daughter, and they have partnered with us in the design process, making decisions and helping us recreate their home.
Our scope of work includes the renovation of one full bathroom and a small powder room. For the powder room — which is small but also used often by guests — the clients wanted to do something dramatic. In the full family-use bathroom upstairs, the clients wanted something softer and more homey, with special details built in.
We particularly appreciated how these clients used each room in their home as a blank palette for a different graphic feel, yet it all still comes together to feel cohesive and speak to their unique family identity.
As in our previous project, we’re designing the spaces for tall individuals, as one of our clients is 6’4” and the other is 5’7″ and both have tall family members.
We’ve completed the design process and are in the construction phase now.
