Shelley Edwards
Operational Manager
Shelley has been working in management in the Design and Architecture fields since 2017. As the Operational Manager at Houseplay Remodeling, she oversees the day-to-day aspects of each project. From initial phases through construction, Shelley ensures ongoing communication and coordination. Her reliability, honesty, and responsiveness is what makes each project a success. In her spare time, she loves to work on her family’s historic home in Montclair and hike with her husband, two daughters, and dog Nova.
Veronika Bamfield
Senior Interior Designer
Our design services are provided exclusively by Veronika Bamfield, owner of Doma Design. She gained her Master’s in Construction Engineering (encompassing both Design and Management) at Brno University of Technology, a prestigious school in the Czech Republic. Veronika worked as a designer at Gifford, a well-established civil engineering consultancy in Southampton U.K. (now part of Ramboll, a Danish consulting engineering group). She later worked as a property manager for Stonehenge NYC, a large management company that owns several luxury apartment buildings in Manhattan. Veronika has been the the lead designer for Houseplay since 2015 and has designed most of the aesthetic projects showcased on the company website. She splits her time between New Jersey and South Florida where she lives with her husband and three children.
Niall Templeman
Master Carpenter
Niall is passionate about his craft, whether he’s carefully building the fine details of high-end homes or creating custom furniture. He brings a wealth of old-world expertise to our projects that results in an authentic feel while using the most modern techniques. Niall has worked in the industry for over 20 years, first in England where he was born and raised, and now in New Jersey, where his hands-on experience, technical know-how and eye for aesthetic possibilities combine to catalyze successful renovations.
Tina Cowles
Business Development
Tina is the point person for Houseplay Remodeling’s business development and marketing needs. Her prior experience includes working for a residential and commercial architectural design firm, as well as TV show management (producing home improvement shows) and in journalism as a network producer at ABC News and CNN. She is thrilled to be part of a groundbreaking team that is helping change lives, one home at a time.
Mila Edwards
Design Assistant
Mila helps keep operations running smoothly and efficiently, whether she’s dropping off samples, measuring spaces, or checking the status of permits. Beyond her part-time responsibilities at Houseplay, Mila is earning her bachelor’s degree in engineering.
