When you have a big home remodel ahead of you, it can be tempting to do just a little bit at a time. However, the “chip away at it” approach can lead to even more stress and strain … and cost you more money too!
When you keep hiring different crews to come in, you cause multiple, ongoing disruptions to your home life.
You can also ratchet up the price of your remodel, since crews need to take time traveling, setting up, breaking down, and tidying at the end of each session.
As such, it usually makes more sense to complete all the work you’d like done in one go.
In this case, our clients bought the apartment with the intention to renovate. However, their initial plan was to complete the project gradually, in small bits and pieces.
After connecting with us, they decided to take the leap and do it all at once.
They moved out of the apartment for the duration; they’re excited to see the process unfold while maintaining their serenity and sanity separate from the construction site!
For this full apartment renovation in historic downtown Jersey City, our team will complete major work in the kitchen and bathrooms; we’ll also tackle reconfiguring closets, and installing new flooring and doors.
At first our clients considered rehabilitating the preexisting, poorly-installed hardwood floors, but once again they decided to start fresh.
Our clients’ style is cottage/farmhouse balanced with some modern elements, and we’re designing to that effect. We’re looking forward to sharing the completed renovation with you!
